Cyndi was my very first concert. There is a picture of me and my sister in front of the concert venue, dressed in fluorescent clothing, hair teased with temporary spray color (mine was pink). Incidentally, I saw her perform again in 2025. As a kid, I never realized how ahead of her time she was. Her concert was full of rainbow flags and one of her songs was set to a backdrop of Yayoi Kusama art. She is one-of-a-kind, timeless, and legendary.
