Back to Concerts of My Life

I was at work and my daughter was at school when tickets went on sale for Taylor Swift's Eras tour. Getting tickets was nearly impossible and paying resale would have been prohibitive. Midway through the day, she called me screaming into the phone that, after waiting online for four hours, she had gotten six tickets for us and our friends. Trying not to think about how this disrupted her learning that day and the fact I didn't stop her from doing it, we set to work on our Swiftie outfits. It was truly the most amazing concert I've ever seen, an unforgettable spectacle. Sometimes you have to let go of perfectionism and take a risk to enjoy life's pleasures.
