Edie Brickell, 1989
Acrylic on Canvas

This was the first concert I ever went to independently with my best friend. Edie Brickell and New Bohemians' Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars album was full of the teenage angst that our thirteen year old selves were feeling. This wasn't her tour, though. She was opening for a complete unknown (to us) named Don Henley on his End of the Innocence tour. We left that night with a whole new musical interest and made plans to go to Tower Records the next day to check out albums by The Eagles.
